Hey there đ
Hope youâre enjoying the last stretch of summer. No new posts from me this time, but Iâve got a few in the works for next weekâs issue.
Letâs get to the best links I found on the internet this week. If youâre enjoying the newsletter, share it with a friend. If this was forwarded to you, check out some previous issues and subscribe for future updates.
đ What I Read
The Liquid Self
Snapchatâs old blog posts are a lot of fun to explore. Several are linked throughout this essay on moving from permanent to temporary digital identities.
Why Does Time Speed Up?
One aspect of this summer that has really stuck in my head is just how quickly time seems to be moving. The State of Business Play
Iâve been hooked on Venkateshâs writing lately and this post is a good example of why. If youâre strategically in the know at your company, try your hand at this list of questions.
Screens Should Be Better
Iâm all for the âmake the internet weird againâ movement. Itâs true that interfaces havenât changed much in 20 years. Besides, âWhatâs the point of technology if weâre not going to have fun with it.â
đ„ What I Found Interesting
Windows of the World
This thread with pictures of windows from various countries around the world is really, really cool. Makes me want to travel again. Patience!
Mamba Mentality
One of the best Kobe stories out there. This gets me going. Felt right to share seeing as Iâm writing this on 8/24 after all.
đ€ Quote I'm Pondering
"You could try to pound your head against the wall and think of original ideas or you can cheat by reading them in books." â Patrick Collison
